**A fantastic opportunity to work with the leader in pet speciality retail, Petbarn, and recent omni channel retailer of the year, reporting directly to the CCO as GM Marketing (Retail).**

In this role you'll be responsible for the
**customer** and
**revenue** growth strategy and achievement of strategic KPIs to improve metrics in share of wallet, reduction of churn, increase food penetration and drive new customer acquisition.

You'll report to the CCO and have the support of a Retail Marketing Manager, a Brand & Social Manager, a Campaign Manager, two Marketing Coordinators and a Social & Content Executive but will work closely with Product, Store Operations, Digital/Ecommerce, PR & Comms, and Insights teams and will have influence over 4000 employees.

You'll work side by side with the Head of Marketing (Vet Services) to enable shared loyalty and subscription programs and facilitate cross referral across its ecosystem of brands and the Petbarn Foundation. The role also manages marketing for Private Label brands such as The Nosh Project, a new human grade food developed by pet nutritionists and approved by vets, and Leaps & Bounds.

You will lead the Retail Marketing planning between product, store operations and Marketing and Digital team including running the strategy and calendar of promotions and campaigns. You will manage agencies, brief internal PR and creative teams and oversee end to end through-the-line marketing activities that drive sales and deliver on customer experience.

You will work closely with the online marketing team to oversee their calendar of major activities and then work with them on all the marketing assets needs for omni channel execution. You will manage the budget and track activity throughout the year and report on KPIs, customer outcomes and ROI.

- You'll be highly organised with strong time management, project management, strong negotiation & briefing capabilities.
- Excellent verbal & written communications skills, an excellent communicator who can successfully build relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally;
- Budget management skills
- Conversant with creating presentations, reports, business procedures and correspondence.
