Quality Inspector and Production Support

Due to organisational growth and succession planning, Siemens Mobility Products Division located in Port Melbourne is adding a Quality Inspector to the team. The ideal candidate will excel in performing various types of inspections and will possess skills in time management, a high level of attention to detail, and exceptional customer service. If you are someone that has strong mechanical and analytical skills, is a self-starter, who works well as a team member and independently please apply. This is a development role that will initially learn through a combination of mentoring and product assembly, and then will transition to component and product inspection and vendor development. A highly experienced quality inspector will support the successful applicant through this period. You will: Ensure product quality through quality inspection of inbound components, specifically those manufactured to Siemens drawings and requirements Ensure product quality through supporting site production processes Ensure product quality though finished product inspection against Siemens drawings and customer requirements Ensure product quality through working with vendors to meet Siemens requirements Identifying and helping implement business improvements We've got quite a lot to offer.
