Quality Inspector and Production Support

Melbourne, Australia Siemens Full time

This is a development role that will initially learn through a combination of mentoring and product assembly, and then will transition to component and product inspection and vendor development. A highly experienced quality inspector will support the successful applicant through this period.

**You will**:

- Ensure product quality through quality inspection of inbound components, specifically those manufactured to Siemens drawings and requirements
- Ensure product quality through supporting site production processes
- Ensure product quality though finished product inspection against Siemens drawings and customer requirements
- Ensure product quality through working with vendors to meet Siemens requirements
- Identifying and helping implement business improvements

- You have the ability to read engineering drawings, and usage of basic measuring equipment
- You are self-motivated and diligent
- You have extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance methods
- Relevant trades qualifications
- Previous experience in discrete manufacturing, process improvement, and SAP
