Due to internal promotion, The Muse Cafe, located in the popular Queensland Museum, is recruiting for an Assistant Manager. We are looking for a star who is personable and well presented. You must have a natural ability to oversee the front of house operations, including supervising all café and event service related tasks to ensure our many guests are provided with professional and courteous service.

**The Role - Assistant Manager**
- Lead a team of waiters, bartenders and baristas
- Deliver exceptional customer service to regular patrons and guests
- Order all cafe stock
- Develop and train new and existing team members
- Be mentored and grow your skill set to be the next venue manager
- Rotating roster over 7 days - weekend work is required
- Based in South Bank, in Brisbane’s cultural precinct

**Requirements**:

- Friendly personality, with a focus on providing top level customer service
- A passion for the hospitality industry
- The drive to lead and mentor a team of junior staff
- Minimum 12 months’ supervisory experience in a bar or cafe, and ready to take the next step in your career
- QLD RSA and Blue Card (or ability to obtain one)
- In possession of valid Australian Working Rights
