**Land Acquisition Manager - Solar Development - VIC/QLD/NSW locations - Long-term pipeline**

**About the Role**
You will be lead person in initial contact with land owners, support land lease negotiations, support the development manager in the land acquisition process and advise on arising property matters to help draw projects to financial close. You will support the Development, Engineering, Commercial and Financial teams as well as cooperate with the wider global team to draw on the collective expertise. You will liaise with external stakeholders including landowners, legal advisors, councils and consultants. This role will suit someone who is confident to work in the field and initiate up front conversations directly with reginal land owners.

**Responsibilities**
- Initial contact with land owners and support senior development team in negotiations to reach land lease agreements
- Managing the internal approval and document control process for property agreements.
- Negotiate and conclude property rights for Wind, Solar and Energy Storage projects.
- Support the project due diligence and financial close process.
- Support new site selection including rights and licences.
- Maintain land templates and support the development of new documents.

**Skills & Experience**
- Degree or relevant qualification in legal, property, land or estates management.
- 2-5 years land acquisition experience across any sector
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Current driving license.
- Able to travel to Regional areas in VIC/NSW/QLD
