**About the centre**

RecWest Footscray is a facility that offers a wide variety of programs for all. The centre comprises of a fully equipped gymnasium (electronic cardio equipment, machine weights and free weights), Group Fitness, multiple program rooms (used for a variety of programs and services), basketball court and a hall. The facility has been a long standing part of the West Footscray community and as such hosts a number of community and inclusive groups and programming.

**About the role**

As the Health and Wellness Team Leader you will assist with the centre management and team leadership at RecWest Footscray. You will be able to coach and lead a team of employees in Health and Wellness areas and ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets agreed standards.

Your role will involve:

- Leading and motivating teams through clear and achievable team goals
- Supporting high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures
- Assisting the Manager and senior coordinator by working as part of the Manager on Duty roster, providing support to customers and staff across all areas of the facility

This role will include coordination of the Health Club, Group Fitness and Personal Training areas of the business across all days and hours of operation. This role forms part of the RecWest leadership team spanning across RecWest Braybrook and Footscray, and as such work may be performed across multiple facilities when necessary.

This is a full time role with a salary of $56,270 - $57,456 + super (experience dependant).

**About you**

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in Health & Wellness, with experience in program delivery and customer service desirable. You will be passionate about mentoring and developing staff and eager to play a key role within the leadership team.

**Essential Qualifications**
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Minimum Certificate III in Fitness
- Current registration with Fitness Australia
