**Role Overview**

As the Business Development Officer at Grace Recovery Hub, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our services and filling support worker shifts while expanding our client base in targeted areas. You’ll partner with key referral sources—like hospital discharge services and supported housing—while strengthening relationships with NDIS stakeholders, support coordinators, allied health professionals, and clients. Your ability to connect with people, foster relationships, and align needs with service offerings will drive the success of this role.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Networking & Relationship Building**
- Build and nurture partnerships with hospital discharge services, supported housing, support coordinators, and allied health providers.
- Strengthen professional networks to generate referrals that match client needs with available services.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, families, and professional networks, fostering trust and collaboration.
- Represent Grace Recovery Hub at industry events, community functions, and conferences to promote our mission and services.

**2. Business Growth & Client Engagement**
- Develop strategies to optimise support worker shift placements while identifying and onboarding new clients in key areas.
- Create and implement plans to fill vacancies, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and service offerings.
- Monitor client and worker satisfaction to enhance retention and engagement.

**3. Referral Development & Intake Management**
- Partner with NDIS plan managers, local area coordinators, and referral sources to navigate opportunities for client placements.
- Oversee the intake process, ensuring timely and accurate completion of service agreements and support schedules.
- Actively work to identify gaps and develop solutions for efficient referral and service matching.

**4. Leadership & Results-Driven Strategy**
- Drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and meeting or exceeding referral and placement targets.
- Provide clear and actionable weekly KPI reports to track progress and inform strategic decisions.
- Lead efforts to ensure high-quality service delivery, fostering a positive and accountable organisational culture.

**5. Data Management & Compliance**
- Track and report on key performance metrics to ensure compliance with NDIS standards and organisational policies.
- Provide insights into growth opportunities based on data analysis and market trends.

**Skills & Experience**
- Relationship Building Extraordinaire: Proven ability to engage effectively with clients, their families, and professional networks, including support coordinators and allied health providers.
- Results-Driven Leadership: A natural connector with a talent for meeting targets, identifying growth opportunities, and building long-lasting partnerships.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in business development, client retention, and strategic growth within the NDIS sector or related fields.
- NDIS Knowledge: Strong understanding of disability support, NDIS frameworks, and relevant legislation.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building trust and achieving outcomes.
- Target-Oriented: Proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs within tight timeframes.
- Financial Acumen: Experience in budgeting and oversight of billing processes.
- Strategic Planning: Proficient in identifying and implementing innovative business strategies to drive growth.

Mandatory Requirements

Clearances & Certifications:

- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) clearance or Police Check.
- Working with Children Check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

**This is an office-based role with no remote work option available.**

Transport: Own vehicle and unrestricted driver’s licence.

Availability: Flexibility to travel locally as needed.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $39.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week

Supplementary Pay:
