**Your new company**
My client is a leading multinational manufacturer, coming from humble beginnings and now boasts over 600 employees globally - a true Australian success story. Servicing a number of markets from their Eastern suburbs manufacturing plant, this business has grown into a global manufacturer in their niche.

**Your new role**
As a result of a new internal project, a fixed term vacancy has arisen for 18 months as a Production Planner to develop the short, medium and long term production plans working alongside the Manufacturing Manager. The remit of this role includes:

- Managing raw materials and inventory requirements in line with the production plan
- Analyse plant capacity for production improvements
- Utilise lean manufacturing principles to drive an existing CI culture onsite
- Ensure accuracy of data input and participate in S&OP processes

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, engineering or relevant discipline
- Experience in production planning within a commercial manufacturing environment
- Highly developed Excel aptitude, exposure to Microsoft AX 2012 advantageous but not required
- Strong communications skills, liaising with multiple stakeholders including production, warehouse, sales and customers
