**Role Description/Criteria**

St Raphael is an integral part of the faith community of Preston West and is one of three parish primary schools. St Raphael is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS) ABN 18643442371. MACS is the employer of employees at St Raphael’s.

We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and enthusiastic part-time Education Support Officer to provide assistance and support to students in the Foundation homerooms. The successful applicant is required to possess excellent time management skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to use initiative, and must be able to work collaboratively in a flexible and collegial team environment. The working hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, with some flexibility based on experience, availability, and qualifications. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Learning Diversity Leader and Deputy Principal.

- A Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent)
- Level Two First Aid (or a commitment to acquire it promptly),
- Experience working as an ESO/LSO/SSO
- Tertiary Teaching Students Undertaking Studies in Education
