- Ideally, high level of interest in news, current affairs, and salient topics of public interest
- Attention to detail
- Committing to learning and becoming adept in the CT way of opinion research

One or more of the following skills would also be highly desirable:

- Interest in or commensurate experience in opinion research
- Strong skills in PowerPoint
- Strong skills in Excel and/or research tools including Q or R
- Strong ability to conduct and report on desktop research
- Developed writing skills, particularly in writing commentary/summaries for research
- Ability to present research insights
