**About the role**

The Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator reports to the Director Maternity Services and is responsible for the development and maintenance of a multi-disciplinary approach to the provision of reproductive loss services at the Women’s Hospital. The role ensures timely, effective, and comprehensive responses to the needs of women and their families experiencing reproductive loss.
** A regular day will see you**:

- Providing clinical care to families experiencing reproductive loss
- Developing and implementing bereavement care plans
- Providing ongoing professional education relating to reproductive loss services across the organisation
- Developing, implementing and reviewing procedures and guidelines related to reproductive loss
- Managing patient escalations or complaints.

**You’ll bring with you**:

- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Social Work as well as meeting eligibility requirements for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Skills and experience 2
- Experience in working in the area of reproductive loss/ bereavement care across a complex hospital system
- Experience in preparation and presentation of professional development programs to multidisciplinary service providers.
- Ability to manage complex system change
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to work with conflicting needs and perceptions
