18 hr per week including Saturdays
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience as a medical receptionist (preferable)
- Good computer skills
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a very busy working environment
- Must be well presented at all times
- Punctuality and reliability essential
- Previous experience with Pracsoft (preferable)
- Knowledge of Medicare and private medical billing
- Friendly approachable manner
- Interested in learning and taking on new responsibilities and assisting in practice growth
- Minimum one-year medical receptionist experience (preferable)

**The roles and responsibilities include, but not limited to**: **Meet and greet all patients and medical representatives with exceptional customer service skills ** Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documents

- Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
- Attend to patient billing using the procedure/practice and software at the practice
- Collect payments and/or process Medicare, DVA, Work-cover and other receipts
- Undertake other reasonable duties and tasks directed by the practice manager.
- Management of the waiting room including patient flow and tidiness.
- General tidying and cleaning duties
- Ordering medical and office supplies
- Assistance with advertising

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $20.33 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff and patients to wear masks while in the practice. Privacy screens present.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bligh Park, NSW 2756: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administration: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
