**What this opportunity involves**:
Would you love to work at one of the south east's largest retail centres, Dandenong Plaza. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our building management team on a part-time basis (2 days per week).
**An overview of the role**:

- Manage day-to-day client activities and serve as the on-site key point of contact
- Oversee operational site budgets, maintenance regimes, and contractor management
- Implement and maintain property risk management programs
- Ensure compliance with OH&S standards, building codes, and relevant regulations
- Contribute to annual operating budgets and work to meet or exceed targets
- Develop effective relationships with retailers and stakeholders
- Prepare monthly reports on incidents, budget status, and maintenance programs
- Supervise tenancy fitouts in coordination with the client's team
- Manage contracts to ensure professional delivery within agreed budgets

**Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree in facilities management, building, business or related field
- 3-5 years' experience in facilities or property management
- Experience working in retail-related assets
- Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements
- Understanding of technical aspects of property (Air-conditioning, Fire Protection, CCTV, Mechanical & Electrical systems)
- Proven capacity to understand and interpret commercial contracts
- Experience in delivering tasks within operational and CAPEX budgets
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver's licence
