**About the Role**

You'll need to be compassionate, empathetic and a detail orientated individual who possess strong listening and communication skills to be successful.

As a Support Worker you could be working in people's homes and/or in the community and may help with tasks such as mobility, eating and drinking, personal care or accessing the community.

Duties and responsibilities of a Support Worker are unique and varied because those we support have unique needs. Whilst this can be a diverse role, the focus is always on supporting a person to lead a fulfilling and more independent life.

Some sort of experience in Nursing, Disability Home Care, Aged Care and/or Community Work or the following will be an advantageous

- Feeding - Peg and/or Tube

- Sensory/ABI Disability
- Hoisting/ Transfers
- Personal Care
- Community Access

**Must have**
- Valid Australian work rights
- Open Driver's Licence, reliable car & insurance

**Must be able to obtain**
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $31.86 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Loganlea, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
