**About the Role**

You'll need to be compassionate, empathetic and a detail orientated individual who possess strong listening and communication skills to be successful.

As a Support Worker you could be working in people's homes and/or in the community and may help with tasks such as mobility, eating and drinking, personal care or accessing the community.

Duties and responsibilities of a Support Worker are unique and varied because those we support have unique needs. Whilst this can be a diverse role, the focus is always on supporting a person to lead a fulfilling and more independent life.

- Feeding - Peg and/or Tube
- Intellectual Disability
- Sensory/ABI Disability
- Mental Health
- Hoisting/ Transfers
- Complex behaviours

**Must Haves**
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- National Police Check (Essential)
- Valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Essential)
- Valid Australian work rights
- Queensland Full Open Driver's Licence, reliable car & insurance
- Some sort of experience in Disability Home Care, Aged Care and/or Community Work is an advantage

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Flexible hours
- Rotating roster

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Australian driver's licence (preferred)
- First Aid (preferred)
- Australian National Police Check (preferred)
- NDIS Workers Screening Clearance Card (Yellow Card) (preferred)
