**About the role**

As a Messaging Operations Lead at Car Next Door, you’ll be:

- Defining the messaging roadmap and delivering infrastructure solutions to support the product and marketing roadmaps
- Developing systems of governance for maintaining a high bar of quality, consistency and compliance across our marketing and transactional messaging
- Working with engineers to maintain our event database and content APIs to ensure effective content delivery
- Managing, recruiting and growing a team of high-performing messaging operations specialists and supporting them in delivering campaigns on time and to specification
- Overseeing documentation and reporting for all messaging flows

**To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring**:

- 5+ years supporting high-volume marketing campaigns and automated messaging to achieve challenging targets and standards
- 5+ years working with CRM, CDP and marketing automation technologies such as Twilio, Braze, Hubspot, and Segment
- 5+ years developing with HTML5, CSS, Ruby (or other object-oriented languages) and SQL
- Strong data analytics and querying skills
- Expertise in marketing automation best practices
- An ability to communicate complex information clearly through excellent verbal and written communication
