About this opportunity*
As a Lead Finance Analyst within the Pact, you will provide the critical accounting and commercial link between manufacturing, finance, and pricing to ensure all margin and costing are rational and logical, enabling our business stakeholder to make well informed decisions based on insightful, accurate and timely information - on the factory floor and with our customers.
Building strong relationships and developing insights into operations is within your remit, including key factors such as product / services costing, stock-management, bills-of-materials (BOMs), labour, freight and production technology. You will also work with your key stakeholders to establish effective review and reporting cadences and ensure clear information /insights to support accountabilities and provide critical finance support.
Demonstrating your analytical perspective, you will drive cost effectiveness, extract efficiencies, optimise controls and manage risk with a strong focus implementing best practice margin and cost management, while driving consistency of implementation across all parts of Pact Contract Manufacturing.
**Your key responsibilities will be to**:

- Display an unrelenting focus on improving our safety culture. Your behavioural leadership is genuine and highly visible
- Support the Finance Manager in the delivery of planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Review and update product cost and pricing structures
- Support the business to establish efficient processes to maintain master data
- Month end review of P&L, balance sheet and accompanying analysis
- Review and manage working capital in collaboration with Operations lead
- Lead preparation and roll up of cyclical management reporting for supported sites and provide meaningful insights
- Analyse performance to understand changes and provide recommendations to stakeholders
- Provide input into customer pricing
- Provide financial modelling support to business cases and projects
- Review systems and operational accounting practices to ensure alignment across the group
- Work with sites to build capability of business leaders and stakeholders on effective cost management and management accounting practices
- Ensure appropriate internal controls are implements and support a culture of good governance

**Your skills and experience**
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

- Solid experience in management accounting or cost accounting, ideally from a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experience in partnering with cross functional stakeholders to identify opportunities, draw insights and develop solutions and deliver results
- Sound financial understanding of P&L, accounting systems and financial metrics
- Knowledge of supply chain, logistics and freight finance in the context of a finance function
- Excel, modelling experience at intermediateto adanced and Power B.I experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels in technical or non-technical language
- Drive for continuous improvement to processes and your own personal development
- Ability to think innovatively in developing and implementing solutions
- High level of independence and self-direction while also enjoying being part of a cohesive and collaborative team of professionals
