**Your new role**

The Senior Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for developing the authorities' collection capability through stakeholder engagement, undertakes analysis of multiple data streams and provides timely intelligence advice. As a senior intelligence analyst, you will produce high quality intelligence products to enable the authority and its partner agencies to make informed decisions when undertaking compliance and enforcement action in relation to these goods.

**Key Duties**
- Collection, extraction, collation, and analysis of information and data
- Production of high-quality intelligence assessments which contain actionable recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain intelligence holdings to ensure accurate decision-making and investigative action.
- Proactively identify and obtain access to information systems and/or intelligence sources which will improve insight into serious non-compliance against the authorities regulatory scheme.
- Develop and maintain intelligence networks with state, federal and international regulators and law enforcement agencies.
- Identify and promote opportunities to improve intelligence collection and analysis methodologies and tools.
- Prepare intelligence reports.
- Prepare updates on the work program for branch management, and Executive briefs as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive experience in undertaking intelligence collection and/or analysis.
- Proven understanding of the intelligence cycle and experience preparing intelligence collection plans.
- Excellent research and analytic skills, with the ability to draw sound inferences and recommendations to manage complex issues.
- Demonstrated knowledge of intelligence methodologies, including information collection, data extraction and use of analytic tools.
- Outstanding communication skills, demonstrated through high-quality intelligence assessment products and verbal briefings to stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of regulatory compliance and how intelligence assessments contribute to a holistic approach for interdicting non-compliance.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in intelligence analysis are desirable
