**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate **Assistant Behaviour Support Practitioner** to join our team. In this role, you will support behaviour support programs under the guidance of a Senior Behaviour Practitioner or Certified Behaviour Analyst. You will work closely with clients, families, and other professionals to implement behaviour plans and promote positive outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in implementing individualised behaviour support plans and interventions
- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviours
- Provide one-on-one support to clients in various settings (home, community, school)
- Collaborate with supervising practitioners to modify strategies based on client needs
- Promote client independence and skill development through positive reinforcement
- Attend team meetings and contribute to case discussions
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions

**Requirements**:

- Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, Community Services, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or challenging behaviours preferred
- Understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles is an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and own transport

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
