**The role**:
We are currently looking for a **Maintenance Officer/ Mini Bus Driver **to join the friendly team at **The Heritage of Hunters Hill **on a **permanent full time** basis (38 hours per week, 8am - 4pm/430pm, Monday - Friday). Located in **Hunters Hill **in Sydney, The Heritage is home to 42 apartments and elegant shared spaces including billiards room, library and community centre. You will be responsible for the grounds and maintenance of The Heritage Retirement Community, working in accordance with health and safety guidelines and providing a support service that enhances our customer's wellbeing in their home.

**What you will be doing**:

- Involved in preventative and proactive maintenance
- Providing a range of general maintenance duties, including identifying and fixing general hazards
- Driving a 14 seater bus, assisting residents in weekly, regular outings
- Bin management, involving monitoring and cleaning
- Delivering a high level of service to residents, visitors, contractors and staff
- Maintenance of the shared spaces, ensuring a high standard of presentation
- Working within health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff, reporting hazards where appropriate

**About you**:

- **Proven maintenance/ handyman experience (essential)**:

- **Must have a Light rigid (LR) license or be willing to obtain (cost of training provided)**:

- **Must have full covid vaccination and be willing to complete First aid/ CPR training (cost of training provided)**:

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the maintenance services in an apartment complex
- Competent computer skills and willingness to learn the asset management software
- Knowledge of OHS requirements with a strong resident and safety focus

**Salary**: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour
