**Your new role awaits**:
Our Investment Services Team are looking for an Analyst to complete mandate compliance reporting for NAB’s Superannuation, Insurance and Fund Manager clients. As a valued internal colleague, we’re taking a long-term approach in how we scaffold your learning; ultimately enabling you to transition and step up into the Investment Performance team after approximately 18 months.

**With a focus on investment compliance reporting, day to day you will**:

- Prepare clients’ investment compliance reports based on identified guideline breaches, reconcile and analyse portfolio valuations, financial data and benchmarks to ensure the integrity of reports.
- Liaise with clients, fund managers and other external third parties when investigating mandate breaches

**Longer term, you will have the opportunity to do the following within Investment Performance**:

- Compile, analyse and produce performance returns relative to industry or mandated benchmarks
- Conduct complex attribution analysis and risk-return analysis on Fund performance across various managers employed by the Fund
- Reconcile performance valuations against account valuations
- Daily performance and attribution reporting across multiple asset classes
- Timely and accurate resolution of client or asset consultant performance data queries

In addition to your ability to work autonomously, you will enjoy the challenge of working with highly technical concepts and be supported to work with senior team members and the management team to ensure you meet required deliverables. Comfortable in working with large amounts of data, your highly tuned eye will enable you to investigate inconsistencies of data, and your passion for producing consistently accurate reporting will be well favoured and ensure you can hit the ground running.

Knowledge in VBA, SQL and/or python is highly regarded for this role as the team works with large and complex datasets. With your commitment, we’d hope to build upon your knowledge of investment structures, strategies, reporting needs and client specific calculations and processes and hope that you’re as excited about the possibilities of what may be longer term in the team for you. We’ll also support your longer-term journey by supporting your ambitions with studying towards your CFA.

The team sits within our Corporate and Institutional team and Asset Servicing specifically provides Custody, Master Custody, Investment Administration and other related services to a range of locally and internationally domiciled clients, including federal and state government agencies and superannuation funds, investment managers, corporate and industry superannuation funds, brokers/dealers and institutional banks.
