Experienced financial analyst required to join a reputable government organisation, attractive day rate

**Your new company**
This state government organisation is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join their Service Transformation team.

**Your new role**
As an Investment Analyst reporting into the Head of Strategy your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Support the Strategic division with preparing and developing business cases to invest in transformation and business improvement opportunities
- Communicate and liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders as required to obtain relevant data and information for business case proposals and financial analysis
- Present concise findings and relevant findings to senior management

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced capabilities with financial modelling, business architecture and commercial acumen
- Relevant Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
- Ideally CA/CPA/CFA qualified
- Demonstrated experience with proposing and developing business cases, financial and ROI models
