**General Manager (Part-Time) - Chubby Chia**

**Location**: North Shore, Sydney
**Type**: Part-Time (2-3 days/week)

Are you an experienced FMCG operator who’s keen to get your hands dirty (figuratively and maybe literally) at a fast-growing food startup?

**Chubby Chia** is on a mission to make feel-good foods exciting, accessible, and real. As we grow rapidly across retail, wholesale, and D2C channels, we're looking for a sharp, organised and proactive **General Manager** to help steer our day-to-day operations and unlock the next stage of growth.

**What You’ll Do**

This is a dynamic, cross-functional role where no two days are the same. Reporting directly to the founder, you’ll be responsible for making sure the business runs smoothly and scales smartly:

- **Stock & Order Management** - Oversee inventory levels and ensure smooth order fulfilment across our warehouses and sales channels.
- **Production Planning** - Coordinate production runs with co-manufacturers and ensure we’re always meeting demand without overextending.
- **FMCG Systems & Processes** - Bring structure and discipline to how we track product movement, plan supply, and fulfil customer expectations.
- **Food Compliance & Standards** - Ensure we’re meeting all health and safety standards, including HACCP, labelling, and storage compliance.
- **Sales Enablement** - Support inbound and outbound sales, pursue leads, and help convert interest into growth.
- **Scalable Growth Execution** - Support strategic decision-making, streamline processes, and help implement new systems and tools as we expand.

**Who You Are**
- 3-5+ years of experience in FMCG or a similar product-based business.
- Strong grasp of food production, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Comfortable managing third-party logistics, co-packers, and suppliers.
- Working knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements.
- A systems thinker who loves order but can flex when things get scrappy.
- Sales-savvy and commercially aware - not afraid to chase leads or close a deal.
- Hands-on, humble, and ready to roll up your sleeves.
- Sydney-based, with flexibility to work from our North Shore HQ.
