Position Overview:
Exciting opportunities are available for individuals seeking to make a positive impact as Disability Support Workers in our SIL (Supported Independent Living) arrangements respite care and community services and In-home care. As a crucial member of our team, you will be involved in providing 24-hour care, encompassing morning (from 6 am), afternoon (from 2 pm), and sleepover shifts as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Personal Care Assistance**:

- Provide support for personal activities, including hygiene assistance.
- Administer medication and offer necessary assistance.
- Assist with manual handling when required.
- **Domestic Assistance**:

- Offer support with domestic tasks to ensure a comfortable living environment.
- **Meal Assistance**:

- Assist participants with meal preparation and related activities.
- **Behavioral Support**:

- Implement and follow Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP) for clients with complex challenging behaviors.
- **Community Engagement**:

- Assist participants in engaging in community, social, and recreational activities.
- Transport participants to community-based outings using company or personal vehicles.
- **Group and 1-on-1 Support**:

- Provide support in both group and 1-on-1 settings, catering to individual needs.

**Requirements**:

- Completed or currently studying a Certificate III in Individual Support (or relevant qualification).
- Australian Driver's License.
- First Aid Certificate.
- CPR Certification.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- National Police Check obtained within the last 12 months or willingness to apply.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid19
