Our client is the leading transport agency in New South Wales.
**_They are currently seeking a Overhead Aerial Lines and HV Cables Specialist for a contract role, WFH and Macquarrie Park._**

They are looking to engage a Contractor with considerable experience in Overhead Aerial Lines and HV Cables to manage the updates and publication of five standards as follows:

- T HR EL 20004 GU “High Voltage AC and 1500 V DC Traction Power Supply Cables Design and Construction Guide”
- T HR EL 20004 ST “High Voltage AC and 1500 V DC Traction Power Supply Cable Infrastructure Standards for Design and Construction”
- T HR EL 20005 GU “Guide to Above Ground Installation Configurations for High Voltage AC and 1500Â VÂ DC Cables”.
- T HR EL 10004 SP “Timber Poles”
- TS 03777:1.0 (EDI003) “HV Aerial Line Fittings”

This role will be part of the Overhead Lines and Cables team and work in collaboration with SME’s across the Transport cluster.

**Objective**
The main objective of this role is to update and publish the standards due for expiry and meet the deadlines before they are due.

**Background/context**
This role will be responsible for assisting with updating and publishing expiring TfNSW standards before they are due.

**Scope**
The five above mentioned standards will undergo major revision due to queries and concessions over the last five years. T HR EL 20004 GU and T HR EL 20005 GU are a priority, and a review of applicable international standards is required to be undertaken as part of the update for these standards.
