About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Dual Qualified Powerline Worker/Electrical Technician on the Mid North Coast of NSW located in Port Macquarie.

You will be responsible for carrying out all Live Line and general Electrical construction, installation, connection, maintenance and repair of both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) overhead and underground distribution network assets and equipment.

About You

You will have experience in the application of Electrical Technician trade skills in the energy Transmission and Distribution environment as well as Powerline Worker trade skills and associated Live Line experience. In this role you will be selecting, testing, fault finding, repairing and performing maintenance of Electrical infrastructure as well as performing High and Low Voltage switching and permit issues.

Required Qualifications

- Certificate III in ESI - Power Systems - Distribution Overhead
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (plus Qualified Supervisors Certificate) or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
- Qualified Supervisors Certificate
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry and business required licences, authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role.
- Drivers licence
