The Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking an Operations Assistant on a temporary part -time basis to contribute to the smooth running of our surgical services until 30 June 2025 at Wyong Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to support our clinical team within the operating theatres, as well as assist in various other areas throughout the hospital.

As an Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our operating theatres and broader hospital services. Your responsibilities will include assisting with the setup and running of theatre lists, providing general assistance in the wards and theatres, and managing the transport of patients throughout the facility. You will also assist with cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both patients and staff. Your role will involve a variety of tasks such as linen management, bed management, and assisting with the movement of equipment. You will adhere to strict infection control guidelines, manual handling principles, and hospital protocols to ensure patient safety. Additionally, you will complete necessary documentation and participate in quality improvement programs to help enhance the services provided at Wyong Hospital.

**About You**
- You have prior experience working in a care setting or performing general duties in a healthcare environment
- You can work independently with mínimal supervision.
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

You will be working at Wyong Hospital, part of the Central Coast Local Health District, providing healthcare services to the Central Coast community. Wyong Hospital offers a range of services, including emergency, surgical, and inpatient care. As part of the Operations team, you will be immersed in a fast-paced, supportive environment, working closely with clinical staff and contributing to the smooth running of operations within the hospital.
