We are currently seeking dedicated support workers, who wish to make a difference in the everyday lives of NDIS participants as we experience growth across Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan.

**The Position**

You will be working in a supportive environment with staff who are focused on ensuring our clients receive professional care and support to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Training and support will be provided to assist you to become a quality support worker. Our client requires 4 hours, 3 days a week including weekends for community access.

**General Duties**

As directed by the Client Service Manager, and in-line with the client’s NDIS goals, duties may include:

- Lifestyle needs - assisting with making and attending medical appointments etc.
- Attending respites, providing meals, attending activities, 24/7 care etc.
- Capacity building - assist clients to attend capacity building activities relevant to their support needs.
- Community access - assist with attending personal and community events etc.
- Write and submit required reports.
- Other duties as required.

**Skills and Competencies**

Competent writing, comprehension, and verbal skills.

Proficient computer skills, with easy access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Ability to follow instructions and work within the limitations of the position.

Ability to work independently.

**Requirements**:
First Aid and CPR

Current Queensland driver's license is an advantage

Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

NDIS Worker Orientation Module

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
