**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Handyperson to join the QLD Facilities Team. Maintenance Handyperson provides support to the management of the delivery of day-to-day and reactive maintenance and longer-term facility management across the allocated assets. The Maintenance Handyperson role consists of ‘hands on’ repairs, maintenance, and supporting of service partners in conjunction with key stakeholders including Operations and Wellness & Hygiene.

The successful Maintenance Handyperson will work closely with their team members to ensure that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

To be successful you will have:

- At least 2 years’ experience in commercial building maintenance as a handyman or similar
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Enjoy and thrive in a fast paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to relate to customers
- Effective communication skills that promote positive interactions with stakeholders and residents

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATES**

We are seeking enthusiastic self-starters with the following skills and experience:

- High attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and multitask
- Can work in team or individual setting
- Ability to work with and relate to young adults while also maintaining professional and cultural sensitivity and boundaries
- 1-2 years' experience as a public area cleaner in a large commercial environment or room attendant in a 4 - 5 star hotel environment
