We are currently seeking an experienced support worker to join our dedicated team here with Proactive Community Services.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to a wheelchair-bound female client. The position demands flexibility as hours are rostered throughout the week, including weekends.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist the client with activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility assistance, and medication management.
- Accompany the client to appointments, outings, and social activities as required.
- Provide emotional support and companionship.
- Preparing meals and domestic cleaning
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide personal care to participants (e.g bathing, administering medication etc.)

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Previous experience as a support worker or similar role, preferably in a disability
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Able to adapt and stay claim in challenging situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional evenings.

**DESIRABLES**
- Certificate III in social and community work or equivalent
- Experience working with vulnerable people
- First Aid + CPR certificate
- Working with Children’s Check
- Working with Vulnerable People
- NSW Police Check

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week

- Monday to Friday

- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)
