**Salary package**:$85,434 - $100,378 per annum plus 17% superannuation
**Term**: Part time (0.2FTE 7 hours per week), Fixed term (until November 2026)

**Position Overview**

As a Research Officer, you will be responsible the expression and purification of complex proteins using insect cell expression systems. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with leading scientists in the field, access to top-tier research facilities, and the chance to publish in high-impact journals.

Key Qualifications:

- Honours/Masters in Biochemistry, or a related field. Experience in protein expression in insect cell systems and protein purification is required.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

The Solomon Lab and Williams Lab are globally renowned for their advances in the plant diseases, particularly necrotrophic diseases in wheat.
