Reporting to the COO and located at SA Potato Co (SAPC)
- As the Human Resource & Payroll Adviser, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:_
- **Human Resource Duties**_
- Assist and manage end to end recruitment activities including but not limited to preparing employment contact, sourcing, shortlisting, phone screens and reference checks;
- Managing worker’s compensation claims and supporting the RTW process;
- Partnering with departments on ER matters including performance discussions, complaints and grievances, resolution of workplace issues;
- Support the development and maintenance of effective HR frameworks;
- Guidance on employment related legislation, awards and policy, support and backup to other HR and payroll functions;
- **Payroll Duties**_
- Oversee full function payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and always act with legislative compliance;
- Identify system and payroll errors and implement corrective action where required;
- Maintain and update employee records ensuring a high level of data integrity and compliance with the Privacy Act;
- Assist with reconciliations (including annual payroll tax & work cover reconciliations), payroll reporting, Superannuation and LSL calculations;
- Manage employee pay queries, audit(s), filing, archiving employee pay/personnel details;
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $28.69 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
**Experience**:
- Payroll: 2 years (required)
- Human resources management: 2 years (required)
