**About the Role**

Serco Defence is a certified contract to the Navy providing asset management services. As the Supply Chain Support Officer, you will provide necessary support for the supply and integrated logistics function for DMSS.
- Key Responsibilities Include:_
- Ensuring correct adequate scopes of work, terms and conditions and agreements are issued on behalf of the contract to Supply Support when procuring products or services
- Taking responsibility on behalf of the DMSS contract to coordinate all Supply Support activity
- Conducting due diligence to ensure Central ASPAC Supply Support correctly onboards vendors and ensure that the required Supply Support artefacts are accurately held and are up to date in the Supply Support systems for all active suppliers
- Monitoring and reporting on the level Supply Support activity by DMSS and the overall performance of the Supply Support process
- Setting direction and providing management of inventory, warehousing, spares holding, stocktake concepts and activities
- Providing direct and indirect supervision of suppliers, sub-contractors, training, and development of contract members

You are a motivated, reliable, and dedicated individual with experience and passion within supply chain management. You demonstrate commitment for enhancing customer experience with integrity, and pride yourself on the ability to find solutions for complex issues. You have a strong sense of prioritisation with a high level of attention to detail and ability to adapt and change your focus as required. You have exceptional interpersonal skills that allow you to develop strong working relationships with various stakeholders. You are dedicated and driven and demonstrate exceptional moral values in all that you do.
- You will also have:_
- Demonstrated experience within supply chain management, ideally in Defence or Maritime
- Desirable knowledge of the Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) or similar industry systems
- Hands on knowledge in use for Enterprise Asset Management Systems (e.g. IFS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office skills (Excel)
- You will need to have, or be able to obtain a Defence baseline clearance. Please note that ongoing employment is contingent on successfully obtaining and maintaining a Defence Baseline Security Clearance._
