BTP is looking for a **Sales Representative** and this is a great opportunity to join an expanding customer-focused company that recognizes that our people are our key assets.

This role would best suit someone motivated by sales with a trade background who enjoys being on the road and can develop new and current client relationships.

As the Sales Representative your primary responsibilities will include:

- Integrate and align sales plans for assigned customers
- Prepare plans for the effective search for sales leads and prospects
- Analyzing Sales prospects
- Develop, maintain, and deliver accurate information on lost business
- Assist peers to secure existing and new sales opportunities
- Business development opportunities
- Proven experience in sales management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to work under stress and resolve conflict.
- Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritize accordingly
- The ability to motivate staff and lead a team
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Intermediate Computer Literacy Skills (including MS Office Suite)

About you:

- Knowledge of the Caterpillar products and dealer parts and service process
- Experience in a Sales, Account Management, or Business Development role, ideally within the Mining, Construction, or Industrial sector
- High level of self-drive and an ability to problem solve
- Have strong organizational and communication skills

As part of your employment, you will be required to satisfy all requirements to obtain site access to our client operations. This may involve providing proof of vaccination as a condition of site entry
