**About the role**:
The Principal Project Officer provides leadership and drives the strategic direction for perinatal mental health screening implementation in Victoria.

The role will include development of executive and Ministerial briefings, budget bids, and require strong partnerships with key stakeholders, staff and senior executive in the department, health sector, screening partners and the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing.

**About you**:
A relevant tertiary qualification in a health discipline or relevant public policy area and / or a relevant postgraduate qualification in a relevant health or public policy area is desirable.

High level expertise and sound knowledge of the maternity service system and current issues, including current and emerging issues at a State, Commonwealth and international level is desirable.
