**About the Assignment**

To deliver quality and efficient transactional accounting and reporting services to our key stakeholders throughout the business, including the Asset Decision Support Teams, Group Finance, Group Taxation, Treasury, Group Insurance, Production Allocation & Commercial.

- Effective and timely collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as required
- Uphold and ensure compliance with all company standards and processes.
- Ensure compliance with and adherence to standards for EHS performance and behavior consistent with Company’s environmental, and health & safety vision and policies and standards

**Role Specific Accountabilities**:

- On behalf of our key stakeholders this role will be accountable for;
- Receipt funds in to the General Ledger
- Manage the Joint Venture cash position through the preparation of timely cash settlements
- Facilitate the settlement and confirmation of Treasury transactions
- Assemble audit data as required
- Prepare and post actual and accrual journals
- Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with bank account maintenance
- Participate in process improvement projects across Finance
- Additional activities as required by the Team Leader - JV Services and Financial Controller

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have the following key skills and experience:

- High level experience experience with SAP (ECC, SAP 6 or SAP 7, S4/H) - essential
- Accounting/Business diploma (preferred)
- Significant experience in financial roles within a complex commercial JV environment
- Advanced analytical skills in MS Excel
- The ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals
- Flexible, resilient, discreet, quick with thought, relaxed and able to adapt and think outside of the box
