**Company Overview**

Our client, a large diversified Financial Services provider is experiencing a period of significant growth and associated Finance change and transformation work.

**Role Overview**

The business is looking for a strong technical Accountant to support them through a range of IFRS standard implementations and other technical change projects. The role will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and act as a key point of reference for all technical Accounting matters within this team.

Responsibilities include
- Prepare accounting policies and position papers in relation to IFRS standard changes as applicable to entities within the broader business
- Working with key stakeholders across the business on the analysis and reporting of impact assessments.
- Work proactively to ensure operational process changes are delivered to ensure compliance with changing standards
- Provide broader support to the team in peak period times

**Skills & Experience**
- CA/CPA qualified
- Demonstrable experience in supporting the adoption of new Accounting standards, in particular IFRS 17
- Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills
