**About the Role**
We are looking for our next Leasing Manager to join our Property and Procurement Team. In this role, you will report to the National Leasing Manager and handle day-to-day lease negotiations with landlords. Plus, you’ll keep the business updated on market changes and manage lease obligations throughout the lease term.
You will help align our business strategies with directives, provide market insights for better decisions, and track key performance metrics like lease savings. You’ll package proposals, work with lawyers on lease matters, and handle complex negotiations.
Additionally, you’ll interpret lease clauses, manage payments, report risks, and ensure compliance. You’ll analyse market trends, seek new opportunities, manage site exits, and handle system tasks. You’ll also flag potential risks, contribute to team culture, and continuously improve processes. Implementing best practices, understanding residential rentals, all whilst embodying BOQ Group values.
**About you**
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for someone with a degree in Property or a related field, and experience in retail leasing. If you have a knack for retail commerciality, strong negotiating and problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of legal processes, leases, and legislation, we want you on our team
You’ll need strong administrative skills and proficiency in MS Office. Experience with franchises and a proven customer service orientation will set you apart. We’re seeking someone with national-scale experience who can build and maintain relationships at all levels.
This role offers the excitement of travel and the opportunity to work in Brisbane. While we prefer more experience in commercial/retail property management, some exposure to leasing is essential. You’ll also need knowledge of commercial governance, financial reconciliation, leasing and contracts, and strong negotiation skills.
