An assistant director and director of Media/Communications is needed for a newly created department.

**Your new company**
This large government agency is fundamental to the improvement of Australia’s welfare and educational standards. The protection and advancement of Australian people in regards to educational enhancement is pivotal to the agencies overarching goal.

The Research Division requires two staff for new policy and program capabilities in research commercialisation to support the Government’s priority to improve and enhance the level of commercialisation and translation of research from Australian universities.

**Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to**:

- Perform independent research work and analysis including the preparation of draft reports on relevant program activities and/or project milestones
- Anticipate and establish priorities, monitor progress and work to deliver required corporate outcomes, specific agency functions or a program within an area of responsibility.
- Identify and lead innovative solutions and communicate the implications of decisions and actions on the agency’s business objectives and stakeholders.
- Identify, manage, and evaluate risk in all decision making and delivery of outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
You will already have or have the ability to obtain a security clearance. You must be an Australian citizen to work in the Australian Public Service. You must also be prepared to undertake a police check.
