Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
Provide expert advice to staff of all levels in regards to how they should plan and conduct procurement processes with a particular focus on high value and strategic procurement.
Leading and supporting the business to undertake procurement processes by developing and reviewing significant procurement plans, go to market documents, evaluation plans, evaluation reports, and development of contract management plans.
Implementation of strategic procurement planning including annual Agency Procurement Plans.
Stimulates ideas and innovation - Demonstrated knowledge and experience relevant to the delivery of well managed sourcing and contract management services, contributes ideas and seeks out new models and developments to inform the teams approach to best practice procurement, including an ability to contribute advice at a strategic level.
Build enduring relationships - Proven ability to work collaboratively and operate effectively within and across teams of multi-disciplinary professionals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Highly developed interpersonal skills including written communication and the ability to consult at appropriate levels within government with a customer-centric focus.
Drives accountability and outcomes - Demonstrates accountability for the execution and quality results through professionalism, persistence, and transparency. Is a role model and supports others to overcome challenges in delivering projects, taking ownership for the delivery and quality of outcomes achieved.
