We are hiring Diesel Fitters for long term temp to perm roles based in the Sumner Park area. The company is a leading fleet hirer and seller of access equipment such as EWP's, Cranes, Cherry Pickers, Knuckle Booms, and other specialist access equipment that service construction, industrial/commercial, and mining industries.

This group have been specialising for over 60 years now and with an increase in customer contracts there is great need to employ additional Diesel Fitters to join their medium sized workshop team in stable and ongoing long term roles.

**Job Details**
- **$50.00/Hr + Overtime, Penalties, Allowances**:

- **7:30am - 3:30pm Mon-Thurs**:

- **Early Knock on Fridays**:

- **Workshop based Diesel Fitter Position**:

- **Located in Sumner**

**About the Role**
- Carrying out scheduled rebuilds, maintenance, servicing and repairs to their fleet of Elevated Access Platforms and Cranes
- Fault finding repairing and/or replacing components as required
- 10 year rebuilds
- Hydraulic repairs and maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues on a variety of equipment

**Skills And Experience**
- **Trade Qualification - Certificate III Heavy Vehicle Technology**:

- Access equipment/ Diesel machinery Fitting experience
- Diagnostics software experience is highly regarded
- Previous hydraulics experience (EWP highly regarded)
- Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner
- Confined Space and Working at Heights/EWP ticket advantageous
- Forklift, Dogman/Rigger license desirable but not essential
