Barwon Health is committed to developing a vibrant culture of education, training and research that advances health and wellbeing for all.- About Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services (MHDAS)- Barwon Health's Mental Health Drugs and Alcohol Services (MHDAS) provides integrated and recovery orientated mental health and drug and alcohol assessment, treatment, harm reduction and community and family support to people of all ages within the Barwon Region currently experiencing, or at risk of experiencing mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues.**About the facility**
- Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.- About Colac Adult & Youth Team- The Colac Adult & Youth Team, participates in the provision of mental health, drug and alcohol care to people aged 16 to 65 years in the Barwon Region. Based in Colac, the team work a a multidisciplinary collaborative to ensure effective inter-team working relationships and continuity of care for clients. The team participate in ongoing development of Headspace Colac, and partnerships with Barwon youth and MIF via participation in key steering committees as directed by the Team manager.**About the role**
- This role is responsible for the delivery of best practice, evidence-based treatment and support to young people aged 16 to 25 with complex needs including drug and alcohol comorbidity and homelessness. The position is based at the Colac Adult and youth mental health team.**About the culture**
