Turner & Townsend are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join the Brisbane team to help our Australia and New Zealand teams. Working within a friendly, professional and supportive team and reporting to our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for leading the Payroll function in Australia and New Zealand.
- Managing end to end payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand payroll
- Assist in the monthly payroll processing as well as any adhoc pays as required
- Provide accurate & timely month-end reports to Finance
- Assist with end of year preparation and pay reconciliations
- Calculation of any termination pays as required
- Management of leave audits
- Monthly Payroll Tax returns for all states
- Annual Workcover calculations and returns
- Liaison with New Zealand payroll provide

**Qualifications**:

- Payroll function experience in a corporate organisation
- Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
- Experience maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail in previous roles.
- Approachable and friendly manner with a customer orientation focus
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of Preceda an advantage but not essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
