- 256393Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Communications Specialist to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of their projects. These deliver to the Agile methodology, and their change services are set to align with these principles and complement their delivery.

This is a long-term contract with an initial duration of 6 months and the potential for a 12-month extension. The role is located in Canberra.
- Design, develop, and implement multi-channel and user-centered strategic communication strategies and plans to support projects and programs.
- Deliver high-quality, professional and user-centered communication materials, including intranet and internet pages, news items, newsletters, video scripts, presentations, and talking points that align with standards and Australian Government Style Manuals.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and deliver communication needs discovery sessions and analyze communications needs for projects as required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Work effectively as part of a cross-functional delivery team and support other change management activities, including the development of training products, engagement activities, and user research.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous similar experience.

It is desirable if you have:

- Familiarity with the Education and/or VET Sector and experiences in working in government (Commonwealth and/or State and Territory).
- Experience in the delivery of change and engagement programs (preferably in the APS context), with a large and diverse range of stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications in Change Management and Engagement (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, ACPM, or APMG Change Management Practitioner, etc.). Sound understanding of ICT build requirements and advanced user of DevOps and Microsoft products.
