**About the company**
An industry-leader in the food and agriculture sector, delivering food components, livestock feed, and fiber to a diverse, worldwide customer base that supplies to both international corporations and small family-operated businesses. They are looking for an experienced Lab Analyst to join their regional Victoria team.

**About the Role**
As a Lab Analyst, you will be accountable for coordinating the timely completion of Chemistry and Microbiology Laboratory analyses internally and via contract laboratories. You will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests and analyses while supporting the Quality Manager with integrated risk management systems, legal compliance, and continual improvement.

To be successful in the role you will need to be hands on with regards to chemistry analyses and will also have the capability to work with internal and external stakeholders.

**Skills and Experience**
- 3-5 years of experience working in a laboratory environment with a focus on Chemistry
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role within the food industry.
- Solid skills in analyzing laboratory results relevant to microbiology and chemistry.
- HPLC operation and BRC systems experience preferred.
- Ideally lab systems management experience
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
