**In this role, you'll**:
be working as the Manager - Program Governance & Assurance with our Regional Delivery and Safety IT Portfolio, on a once in a lifetime program of works between Transport for NSW (TfNSW), the Department of Customer Service and Service NSW. The Regstar program, has been launched to upgrade our legacy Driver Licensing Systems, to future proof our systems and ensure that a seamless end to end service is experienced by all users from the public through to government agency users.

In this role you will based in the PMO office and will oversee all Governance and Assurance for the program. You will be responsible for supporting a team of Project Managers across Regstar projects, providing leadership on governance to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Program. You will identify risks to the program through research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing reports, to support informed decision making and planning. You will also support steering committees, governance forums and control groups, whilst reviewing processes and governance papers, acting as an escalation point.

Ultimately you will be ensuring that the Regstar Program is maintaining a consistent delivery of governance and risk management for TfNSW. This position is a temporary opportunity until the 31.12.25. Your home base will be at Paramatta with Hybrid work arrangements. Tuesday is your team’s office anchor day and the leadership team also meets Fridays in Elizabeth Street.

**About you**

Your skills and experience in a similar governance and assurance role as a stratategic leader, will see you excel in delivering best practice and mínimalizing risk to the program.

You will have previous experience working on Technology based projects and a sound understanding of governance and assurance frameworks, coupled with the identification of risk and gaps anaylsis to projects. You are a pragmatic solution focused thinker with an expert ability in stakeholder management and in ensuring that quality projects are delivered with mínimal risk.
