Our client is highly respected organisation, who provides services and supports to thousands of individuals around Australia. With multiple locations around Canberra, this vital Government organisation seeks only the most skilled and professional individuals to assist them in developing programs, policies, and initiatives that will improve the quality of life for Australia's most vulnerable.

**The Role**
Our client is hiring User Researchers for its Digital Sourcing branch to help build a better marketplace experience.
The User Researchers will collaborate with other researchers to conduct studies that help understand user needs, behaviours, and preferences to inform product and service design and development.

**Duties may include**:

- Planning and conducting user research studies using appropriate methods.
- Analysing research data
- Collaborating with stakeholders, and helping to create and maintain a user-centred design process.
- Understanding of government procurement practices and working in an Agile team is helpful but not essential.

**Experience**
- 4+ years of experience in planning, designing and conducting user research.
- Strong analytical skills, and a passion for user-centred design.
- Understanding of government procurement practices and working in an Agile team
- Reporting findings to the product team and stakeholders
- Track record in collaborating with stakeholders to inform the design and development of products and services within the government industry.
