What You’ll Do
In this role you would coordinate and manage digital assets for effective use in marketing initiatives, ensuring all efforts are in line with brand standards. Engaging with retail leaders to gather input and feedback is crucial to tailor initiatives to store needs and customer preferences. Additionally, the role requires conducting market analysis and research to inform strategies, measuring and reporting on marketing performance, and leveraging data to drive continuous improvement. The ultimate goal is to implement strategic merchandising that encourages customers to explore the store, thereby increasing the likelihood of purchases, and to design local marketing activities that attract and retain local customers.
In the role, your key responsibilities will be:
- Actively participating in Agile ceremonies, modelling and coaching your team on Agile practices and mindsets when working within Telstra's Agile operating model- Ensuring we maintain our compelling brand identity in the market, deliver a cohesive narrative and maximise our economies of scale in the delivery of our marketing campaigns and ensure adherence to brand policy, guidelines and established business processes- Leading the research of market trends in customer and competitor behaviour and analyse insights and learnings to guide the development of innovative marketing approaches that target revenue growth and are relevant to specific states/regions.- Improving and optimising individual and team capability by setting performance goals and development plans to guide the work of the team, enabling them to execute ongoing continuous improvement and providing regular performance feedback, coaching and mentoring to inspire the team to achieve their performance objectives.- Developing and implementing marketing and merchandising strategies to enhance in-store experiences and drive sales, ensuring alignment with overall business goals- Designing and executing visually appealing merchandising displays that attract customers and adhere to brand guidelines, creating a cohesive and engaging shopping environment- Managing local marketing plans and budgets, tailoring initiatives to meet the specific needs and preferences of the local customer base to maximise impact- Overseeing the integration of digital marketing assets across all channels, ensuring a seamless and cohesive customer experience both online and offline- Engaging with retail leaders and store managers to gather insights and feedback, fostering a collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement and innovation- Conducting market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights, using this information to inform and refine marketing strategies- Measuring and analysing the effectiveness of marketing efforts, using dat
