**The Organisation**:
A public research university, ranked as Australia's number 1 university.
**The Role**:
Reporting to the School Manager the Executive Assistant provides all areas of administrative and executive support to the Head of School (90%), as well as support to the Deputy Head of School (10%).

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide executive support to the Head of School across all key areas including:
- diary management (key activity)
- inbox management
- travel arrangements
- expenses processing
- preparation of meeting documentation and presentations
- Provide secretariat functions including minute taking for School Executive Committee, following up actions, meeting scheduling for work groups, and the collation and organisation of meeting papers
- Management and tracking of a variety of approvals (eg: HR, finance, legal)
- Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with professional and academic staff in the School, Faculty, University and with external partners
**Skills and Experience**:
- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior executive and /or multiple senior executives
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to deal directly with people at all levels within and outside an organisation.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills including the ability prioritise work and manage expectations accordingly.
