With continual growth and diversification, we are currently seeking for a Project Coordinator to join our team in Henderson, WA. You will be responsible for guiding the engineering team in adhering to defence systems, regulations and specifications, ensuring the creation of a successful end product meet the specifications and standards of our client.

**Job Specification**:
6 Months Fixed Term Contract with opportunity for permanency

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Job file management. Both electronically and manually in line with Birdon business systems.
- Assist in purchasing equipment and materials as required on projects, including seeking quotes and coding invoices per budget allocation in accordance with Birdon business systems.
- Administration of subcontractor costs including reviewing and checking of final invoicing.
- Reviewing and approving where applicable timesheets for Birdon employees and contractors.
- Support with travel, transport and accommodation bookings of Birdon employees and subcontractors
- Coordinate freight bookings with suppliers to deliver goods to and from Henderson site.
- Credit card management and reimbursement claims.
- Accepting, recording of all deliveries to Henderson site and matching to supplier invoices.
- Monitoring and maintaining tool and uniform allowances.
- Managing all site collections and record keeping of the local and export processed steel/scrap metals including weighing, tracking, and reconciling of all materials and hazardous waste removed from site.
- Assist with new employee onboarding.
- Booking of required training courses and appointments and, keeping employee records up to date.
- Document administration of site safety records such as JSEA’s, toolbox meetings and permits to work.

**Essential**:

- Qualification in Business (or similar)
- 5-10 years experience in similar role desirable
- Safety recognition; First Aid desirable
- HRW licence (any) desirable
- Outstanding communication, leadership and management skills
- Able to work on various tasks simultaneously, with strong organisational and time skills.
- Excellent computer literacy skills
- Defence experience desirable
